Before I visited India, my impression of this country was it's a place all about idols and different spices. From the beginning of this journey, God turned all the impossible to possible.
I quitted my job for this trip so I was able to attend this trip. Just as my boss was questioning my value before I began to question myself, a friend gave me more than enough to provide my next month's rent and bills. Seek His kingdom first and truly you will encounter His goodness.
As we arrived India, all we could see was trash everywhere, animals crossing streets, poor air quality and horrible traffic.
Holy Spirit inspired us every night as we prepared for the next day. From drama skits to games, we were able to use pictures and simple games to interact with the children as we shared the love of God.
One of the most encouraging stories was when we were teaching about how to pray for others, a five-year-old boy came back the next day with excitement and shared about how he prayed for his mother who had headaches. After he prayed for her, her headaches went away at the moment.
I am happy that these children are able to receive and learn so fast because they don't have much but simple faith. But at the same time I grieved for the Christians in America, it’s time for us to become child-like believers again.
Another story that really touched me was when we visited this family with three sisters. As we entered into their house, you can feel the darkness inside. So we began to worship. As we worshipped, suddenly all the lights went off. But we didn't stop. We felt the Holy Spirit was filling the place, and then all three of them said at the same time that something left them. So we began to share about Jesus and asked them if they would like to accept Him.We prayed for them to be filled by God, and instantly the light came back.
Also there is another story about the family with HIV disease. We could feel the hopelessness when we first visited the family. Mother is a believer but father isn't. Because of that, he doesn't like her go to church. So the first thing God shows me was he has lung problem and it causes pain in his body most of the time. So I challenged him – if God heals him then he would have to give life to God and then go to church.
As we prayed he said he was able to breathe better and felt better. We also receive another word of knowledge for their sister who has been suffering with back pain for few months. As we prayed, she got completely healed! We then invited their two daughters to accept Jesus. As we finished praying, God told me to asked the older one if she could read.
I encouraged her to read Bible for her whole family daily. She agreed. Then we taught her how to pray for her mother who also suffers with HIV. As she began to pray, she immediately was filled by the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues!
This trip is truly filled so much God's love and work!
印度，一個神祕又充滿色彩的國家。在開始要去之前，對於印度的印象不外乎是大大小小的偶像以及不同味覺的香料。不過在這旅程開始之前，上帝已經將所有不可能變為可能。
因為這趟短宣旅程，我需要辭掉工作，而當老闆責備我價值觀有問題時，上帝卻奇妙的藉著一位好友提前為我預備了一個月的房租。先求祂的國，就能經歷到祂的美善。
當踏在印度的土地上那霎那，眼睛所經歷的震撼。不論是滿街的車，人，動物以及垃圾；充滿灰塵的空氣；還有許多貧窮地區的人們，沒有一個人穿的衣服是沒有破洞。
因著大部分的人都沒有完整的教育，所以我們在教導關於上帝的教材也要變的很簡化。因著聖靈的感動，我們每天晚上都有不一樣的教材，不論是從說故事加上演戲，又或著是利用畫圖和簡單的遊戲，想辦法讓他們可以明白上帝的大能與奇妙。
其中上我非常印象深刻的是有一個五歲的小男孩，因著聽到我們所教導的去為生病的人醫治禱告，他第二天非常興奮的回報著，當天他的媽媽頭很痛，他很快的為媽媽做了簡單的禱告，突然媽媽就得到醫治！這不禁讓我感到又驚喜又難過。驚喜的是這些孩子因著什麼都沒有，所以當他們接觸並瞭解天國的能力，知道自己能與聖靈一起同工，他們就毫不猶豫的相信。難過的是，在美國的我們與上帝有著豐富的歷史和教導，但每每要去做上帝的工時，卻有著許許多多的藉口理由，甚至推拖。
上帝的教導是如此的真實，尤其是在那最小的身上，作為更是奇妙偉大。除了有不同的教導，我們也因著和當地的宣教士有連結，所以我們藉此有機會探訪他們的門徒們或是已經有在接觸的朋友。
讓我很深刻的是有一戶人家，總共三個姊妹接待我們。當我們一走進屋子就可以感覺到黑暗的靈在當中很強烈的運行。我提出為他們先禱告的要求，但三姊妹的大姊不同意，硬是希望先把茶煮好先。所以我們就開始敬拜，在敬拜開始，所有的燈突然熄滅，但我們仍然繼續頌讚祂聖名。突然的三姊妹同時說有東西離開他們。我們當下就跟他們傳講上帝以及問他們願不願意接受耶穌成為他們救主。聖靈降下，他們三個同時被充滿，燈也回來了！我們所信的上帝真的就像光一般，當光被點起，黑暗就要離去，這是不需要拉扯的過程，而是真理。
另一個很感動的故事是，其中我們去到一個家庭，每一個成員都感染了愛滋病。小朋友是因著爸媽所以得到愛滋。當我們一走進去，我們可以感覺到沒有希望的環境。因著父親的關係，母親本是去教會的但她丈夫不讓。
上帝給了我們一個感動，要我們問這位父親是否身體有不舒服，我就挑戰他如果今天上帝醫治他，那麼他就要讓他的家人去教會。果不其然他的肺常常不舒服，所以我們做了簡單的禱告，他就說他的呼吸有改變，人也感到舒暢。上帝又要我們問，母親的妹妹是否有背痛，她說已經痛了幾個月。很快的禱告之後，居然不痛而且還反覆做原本讓他感到疼痛的運動。
我們鼓勵了他們女兒們，邀請他們接受耶穌。當他們決定了之後，我們就與他們一同禱告，也教導他們如何為自己家人病痛禱告以祝福。在鼓勵大女兒，也是家裡唯一能夠閱讀的，每天晚上朗讀聖經給家人聽之後，她緊緊的抱著聖經。接著邀請她幫她媽媽的身體不適禱告，她突然的就開始說方言禱告。這是我們很感動也驚喜的！聖靈自己動工比我們想像的還要快速與完整。
除了大大小小的神蹟奇事之外，最讓我們感到上帝的愛就是在最後的晚上，當我們聚及所有當地的宣教士以及其他亞洲地區的宣教士一起敬拜禱告。
那天晚上，聖靈大大的工作，柔軟了每一個人的心，每個人都來到上帝面前流淚禱告。不論是需要化解之前的誤會，又或是要團結的感動，每個人都在領餅跟杯時，找一個可以一起禱告或懺悔的人一起。
在這當中獲得最多的是在印度，因物質的缺乏，也是因著生活腳步沒有那麼匆忙，所以很多人基本的愛的表示也簡單許多。當他們喜歡你，同性的他們會主動牽你的手，親親你的臉頰表示他們的愛。當你來到他們家中做客，不論多麼的貧窮，他們會把最好的茶與點心帶到你面前，希望你品嘗和享受。讓我深深感到愧疚，因為在我們豐富的物質生活中，有哪一次是我們願意把最好的給客人？
在這趟旅程中的最後我們有榮幸的為六個人施洗。
上帝的愛是超乎我們所能想像的，不是因著我們能做什麼，而是單單的當你像孩子一樣的相信，祂美妙的工作就開始。這不是只有在第三國家能發生的，如果你有感動，今天你也可以在你所在的地方與聖靈一起同工。祂無時無刻都在說話，無時無刻都等不及我們和祂一起經歷神蹟奇事！
